Justin Bijlow extended his contract with Feyenoord for one year on Saturday. The goalkeeper signed a contract until the summer of 2026.

“I am proud and grateful that the club has expressed its confidence in me,” Bijlow responds. “I have never made it a secret that Feyenoord is my club, so if I can extend that will be a very nice thing for me.”

Bijlow was included in Feyenoord’s youth academy at a young age and made his debut in the main squad in 2017. The born Rotterdammer has already played 126 matches for ‘his’ Feyenoord.

That number could have been much higher. He missed a lot of games due to injuries. This season, Bijlow was sidelined for weeks with a wrist injury and missed the first Champions League games of the season, among other things.

Bijlow will play with Feyenoord against AZ on Sunday. A day later, he can report to the Dutch team again. Before his injury, he had a starting spot in the Nations League. Mark Fleken and Bart Verbruggen were then allowed to start.
