AMSTELVEEN – KLM has canceled all flights to Munich until 6 a.m. on Sunday morning because the south of Germany is experiencing heavy snowfall and the airport there is closed for the time being. KLM flights to some British airports are also affected by snowfall.
In total, this concerns one canceled return flight to Humberside, one to Glasgow and four to Munich on Saturday, a company spokeswoman said. “We are aware of the inconvenience this causes and are rebooking passengers on the next available flights.”
Snowfall is also expected in the Netherlands this weekend. According to the spokesperson, KLM is preparing for this, but it is not yet possible to say what the winter weather will mean for the flight schedule on Sunday. “We advise our passengers to keep a close eye on their travel information.”
