The Lamborghini Countach is a very rare example of this car, as it is believed that only 12 of them were made in white. One of them, the “star” of Martin Scorsese’s film “The Wolf of Wall Street,” will be offered next Friday at an auction in New York.
“This car was used in several driving scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio. So there were two cars in the movie. One of them is actually destroyed in the scene when Leo crawls out of the country club. And this is, in fact, the one they drove and chased in the vehicles in the movie.”
Kost said that the white Lamborghini Countach is a very rare example, as it is believed that only 12 of these were made.
It is expected to fetch between $1.5 million and $2 million when it goes up for auction on December 8.
