Ford says X account hacked, removes pro-Palestinian posts

Ford’s X account showed three pro-Palestinian messages last night. “Israel is a terrorist state,” read one and a half million followers. The carmaker says it was hacked and has since taken the messages offline.
The posts were not online for long, but screenshots from followers are widely shared on social media. Statements such as “Free Palestine” and “All eyes on Gaza” were shared from the Ford account.

Ford felt compelled to issue a separate statement distancing itself from the posts. “Our X account was briefly taken over and three posts were shared that were not approved by Ford,” the automaker wrote . “The posts do not represent the views of Ford Motor Company.”

The company says it is investigating the hack together with X.
