Max Verstappen qualified third for his first GT3 race at the Nordschleife, completing the circuit in 8 minutes and 9 seconds in his Ferrari. This time was three seconds slower than Christian Krognes, who secured pole position in the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3.
Verstappen shares his car with British driver Chris Lulham. Both drivers are scheduled to compete later on Saturday afternoon. It is currently unclear which driver will start the race, which is set to begin at noon and will last four hours.
