Spanish cyclist Arturo Grávalos has died at the age of 25. He was last under contract with the Spanish team EOLO-Kometa.
In recent years, Grávalos underwent several operations on a tumor in his brain and hoped to return to the peloton.
“Arturo never gave up, that was not in his nature. He always wanted to return to the sport and make his mark, but unfortunately it was not to be. We will never forget his smile,” his former team posted on social media.
