Seventeen-year-old Erion Kajtazi, a promising player from Kosovo, died on Saturday in Prizren after suffering a heart attack during a match in the youth championship between his club Trepça ’89 and A&N. The Kosovo Federation and the club from Mitrovica have announced this.
Erion Kajtazi suffered a heart attack on the premises. He was then transferred to Prizren hospital, where he could not be resuscitated, the Kosovan association said.
Kajtazi, Kosovar youth international at the Under 17, was followed by several European clubs. In September he was tested at Anderlecht.
