Four Ambulances of Jewish Organization Set Ablaze in London

The incident involves ambulances from the Jewish volunteer organization Hatzolah located in Golders Green, in northwest London. Forty firefighters and six fire engines were dispatched to bring the blaze under control. Explosions resulting from the fire shattered windows of nearby residences. There have been no reports of injuries thus far.

The police are currently analyzing video footage to identify the suspects. According to the BBC, authorities are investigating three individuals believed to be involved. There are also reports of footage of the crime circulating online.

Since the onset of the Gaza conflict in 2023, there has been an increase in antisemitic incidents across the United Kingdom. Last year, two Jewish worshippers lost their lives in Manchester during Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.

In the Netherlands, several incidents targeting Jewish sites have also occurred in recent weeks. The Public Prosecution Service is treating the attack on a synagogue in Rotterdam as an act of terrorism. Four men have been arrested in connection with this incident. Additionally, explosives were found at a Jewish school and at the Bank of New York in Amsterdam.
