Dutch man arrested in Russia, allegedly hitting police officer

A Dutch man has been arrested in Russia for hitting a police officer, the Russian news agency RIA reports. The reason is said to have been a dispute over a fallen traffic sign.

The man, whose name has not yet been identified, is said to have punched the officer in the face near Smolenskaya, a metro station in central Moscow.

Russian authorities have opened a criminal case. More details are still lacking
