US President Joe Biden has ordered US forces in the Middle East to intercept rockets aimed at Israel, AFP reported, citing a statement from the White House.
Earlier today, sirens blared across Israel and Israelis headed for bomb shelters, while Iran fired missiles at Israel. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it was in response to the killing of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Hassan Nasrallah.
The missile launch suspended flights to and from Ben Gurion Airport, as well as through Jordanian and Iraqi airspace.
The Israeli air defense was activated, which began to intercept missiles.
