Three people killed in plane crash in Australia

Three men lost their lives in a plane crash southwest of Sydney, Australia, when two small aircraft collided mid-air. The planes collided over a wooded area and subsequently crashed, with one catching fire upon impact.

According to the local police chief, a Cessna 182 propeller plane carrying two individuals was en route from Cessnock to Wollongong, while the other aircraft, an ultralight, had taken off from a nearby airport with only the pilot on board. The collision reportedly took place in uncontrolled airspace.

‘Not Survivable’
Eyewitnesses reported seeing debris falling from the sky and rushed to the crash site, where they quickly confirmed that all three occupants had died. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

Despite deploying over ten ambulances and a helicopter, police stated that the nature of the crash made survival impossible. The Australian Road Safety Agency is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
