GRONINGEN – A 70-year-old woman was seriously injured in a stabbing incident at the Holtstek in Groningen. The police have arrested two men. It concerns a 30-year-old man from Budel and a 29-year-old man from Hoogeveen.
The stabbing incident took place at around 1:40 p.m. at the woman’s home. Emergency services took care of her and the area was searched for the perpetrators.
Within fifteen minutes the man from Budel could be arrested near the Rademarkt. The other suspect was arrested not much later near the Damsterdiep. Both are in custody and are being questioned.
The police are investigating the cause.
