A man who was found dead in a basement storage unit in Amsterdam on Monday was found to have been shot with a firearm. The man is a 33-year-old Amsterdam resident, the police reported .
A local resident found the victim Monday morning in a basement storage room corridor on Clauskindereweg in the Amsterdam district of Nieuw-West. It is not yet clear how long the victim had been there.
