ROTTERDAM – On Friday around noon, the police arrested a 19-year-old man from Rotterdam who is suspected of being involved in shooting at a tram on Thursday on the Groene Hilledijk in the city. Two people, who were standing outside the tram, were injured.
On Friday around noon, the police arrested a 19-year-old man from Rotterdam who is suspected of being involved in shooting at a tram on Thursday on the Groene Hilledijk in the city.
The shooting in Rotterdam-Zuid took place around 1:15 PM. One of the injured remained behind and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The second victim has left. The police have not yet spoken to this person, a spokesperson reported on Friday.
Nothing has been reported about the condition of the victim who was taken to hospital. It is also unknown what prompted the shooting.
