BRUINEHAAR – On the Gravenlandweg in Bruinehaar, Overijssel, three warehouses are on fire at a company during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. There are potato crates in the warehouses, reports the Twente Fire Department on X. The warehouses are completely on fire and the fire department has scaled up to a major fire.
Three tankers with extinguishing water are present. Extinguishing water is being taken from a nearby pond, for which the N343 has been closed. The fire is releasing a lot of smoke and flying sparks. Residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed and to switch off mechanical ventilation.
The fire department says it will carry out measurements on X in the area where the smoke from the fire is moving.
