A large fire broke out in a commercial building on Schrijnwerkerstraat in Hoogvliet during the night from Friday to Saturday.
The fire broke out shortly after midnight. No information is yet available about any victims. The fire department has scaled up to a very large fire. Several emergency services are on site to extinguish the fire.
The fire is releasing a lot of smoke. This is moving over the A15, among other places. The safety region warns people who are bothered by the smoke to close their windows and doors and turn off the ventilation.
