EINDHOVEN – Passengers of a handful of incoming flights at Eindhoven Airport had to wait longer on Saturday before they could get off, due to a malfunction in the baggage handling system. “A number of travelers had to wait an hour and a half and that is not usual,” says a spokeswoman for Eindhoven Airport
Due to the malfunction, baggage has to be processed manually. Travelers who want to depart from Eindhoven Airport are also affected by the outage.
“Most travelers have now gone through security and there are not many arriving and departing flights in the evening,” said the airport spokeswoman. “Of course we are working hard to fix the malfunction as soon as possible, but I can’t say how long this will take.”
