Albert Heijn recalls steam meal, Xenos warns of metal in chocolate

Albert Heijn said on Friday in the Netherlands that some of its steam meals contain gyoza with shrimp that are not listed on the packaging.

The undeclared shrimp may pose risks for people who are allergic to shellfish, mollusks and egg, the supermarket said. The affected steam meals carry the expiration date 28-09-2025. Customers can return the product to any Albert Heijn store for a refund, the supermarket said.

Xenos said on Friday that a metal particle was found in one of the green Labu chocolate bars.

The retail chain said the bars are available in orange, purple, blue and green and carry the expiration date 16-07-2026. Xenos advised customers not to eat the bars and to return them to the store where they were bought. Consumers will be refunded their purchase price, even without a receipt, the retail chain said.
