Netanyahu: Iran made a big mistake and will pay for it

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran’s missile attack on Israel had failed and promised retaliatory action, Reuters reported.

“Iran made a big mistake and will pay for it,” Netanyahu said in a video message after Iran fired 180 missiles at Israel last night, most of which the Israeli military said were intercepted by Israel’s anti-missile shield.

“The Iranian regime does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and to hold our enemies to account,” said the prime minister, quoted by AFP.

“Nasrallah (didn’t understand her), obviously there are people in Tehran who don’t understand. They will understand,” Netanyahu threatened and added: “We will stick to our principle: whoever attacks us is attacked by us.”

“Iran has not learned its lesson,” Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant wrote in turn on the X social network and also warned: “Whoever attacks the State of Israel pays a high price.”
