The Lebanese Shiite group “Hezbollah” confirmed the death of its high-ranking commander Ali Karaki in Friday’s Israeli airstrike in Beirut, which also killed its supreme leader Hassan Nasrallah, the Associated Press reported
Karaki reportedly led Hezbollah units in southern Lebanon in the current conflict with Israel.
He is among several high-ranking officials of the group killed in Israeli strikes in Lebanon in recent days.
The Israeli Defense Forces announced that in an airstrike they killed another high-ranking member of “Hezbollah” – Nabil Kauk.
