Biden does not support strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities

US President Joe Biden announced that he does not support strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in response to last night’s missile attacks on Israel.

The US head of state also specified that he would “discuss with the Israelis what they will do”, adding that all G7 allies agreed that any response must be proportionate.

The president also made it clear that there will be more sanctions imposed on Iran.

After the G7 online meeting, the leaders commented on the situation in the Middle East. According to them, a solution to the conflicts “is still possible.” It was published after the end of the virtual meeting of the G7 leaders, which was convened by Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni in her capacity as the rotating chair of the group.

The leaders also reaffirmed their “strong condemnation” of Iran’s attack on Israel.
