For the spring-summer collection of her eponymous label, Victoria Beckham showed minimalist dresses and deconstructed cuts at a show on the outskirts of Paris, reported Reuters and AFP.
The models emerged from a neoclassical castle in the Bois de Boulogne after dusk, their skirts billowing behind them. The audience sat in the courtyard under a clear plastic tent, draped over the blankets left on each chair. Rows of candles illuminated the statues of sphinxes located nearby, Reuters noted.
The models paraded in skimpy tops and asymmetrical dresses, and the pants were slightly baggy. The suits created by Beckham have bare shoulders or with split, as if with scissors, in a fit of rage, trouser legs, informs AFP. The catwalk took place in the middle of Paris Fashion Week, which runs until October 1.
The French capital hosts dozens of fashion shows, from smaller, up-and-coming brands to established brands including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Chanel and Hermès.
