Hyundai is building on its recent design success with the 2026 Palisade, a thoroughly overhauled version of its popular three-row SUV. Following the striking redesign of the Hyundai Santa Fe, the brand is doubling down on bold styling and upscale features, unveiling the next-generation Palisade through a series of official images released by its Korean division.
Bold New Exterior Design
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade takes on a commanding presence with a redesigned front fascia that blends futuristic elements with practical functionality. Nearly the entire front end appears integrated into the grille or lighting features, with prominent stacked daytime running lights (DRLs) framing a grille that retains a more conventional opening at its center. Surrounding the grille are four distinct lighting units, adding a layered visual impact. A lower design flourish, possibly housing active aerodynamic shutters, introduces a sleek yet artistic touch to the front-end aesthetic.
From the side, the new Palisade boasts dramatic styling cues. The DRLs extend along the edges to create a bold, wraparound effect. A large, blacked-out greenhouse contrasts against an otherwise flat side profile, punctuated by squared-off wheel arches. At the rear, a new chrome design accent rises sharply from the rear pillar, sweeping toward the windshield and adding a dynamic sense of movement. The roof is accented by another dark element, possibly body-colored or black, complemented by chrome roof rails. The rear of the SUV is clean and squared-off, with the same distinctive lighting elements framing the design in profile.
Luxurious Interior Enhancements
Inside, Hyundai seems intent on elevating the Palisade’s luxury credentials. A sophisticated design language featuring tan leather and rounded accents sets the tone, with what appears to be Hyundai’s now-signature dual 12.3-inch screen setup at the center. Unlike many competitors, the Palisade retains physical buttons, a welcome feature for easy access to essential controls. Additional highlights include a wireless phone charging pad, cupholders, and an array of USB-C ports, ensuring modern connectivity and convenience.
What to Expect
While Hyundai has yet to reveal detailed specifications, the next-gen Palisade is expected to debut in late 2025 as a 2026 model year. With its upscale design, advanced technology, and focus on luxury, the new Palisade is set to redefine expectations for three-row SUVs.
