CaixaBank will begin to implement its new ATM platform called ATMNow, which is designed to regulate the client experience as well as add new features, functions and services.
The objective of the platform is to offer the same image services and banking on ATMs through the web and mobile app that CaixaBankNow has. ATMNow also includes an all-inclusive adaptation to the ATM area of the client experience as well as the service quality of this digital banking.
This project represents a great achievement in the technological area and digital services innovation. Additionally, CEO Gonzalo Cortazar and Chairman Jose Ignacio Goirigolzarri have become the world’s first omni-channel bank who are capable of offering the identical client experience in all its digital bankings.
The establishment of ATMNow started with the implementation of 50 ATM platforms being set up across Barcelona.
There are new features that have been added to the process, one of them is the fact that ATMNow includes CaixaBank’s ATMs that have new functions and services which result in a friendlier interaction between the users. Apart from this, it also upgrades the process of cash withdrawal making it an easy 2-step process.
It also includes the option of personalizing by default, which means that every time a client tries to use the ATM with their card, they no longer need to reconfigure settings all over again.
ATMNow opened up the way for CaixaBank’s full omni-channel to create new functions and services. For instance, clients can set up an action through the app or web after identifying themselves.
ATMNow is also planning on establishing a facial-recognition for ATMs, which results in the users withdrawing cash with no physical contact and also offering more security.
By the end of July 2021, the bank’s goal is to have 1,250 ATMs across Spain, meaning that every branch of CaixaBank will have one ATM including such features.
Users can sign up or register their biometric data through their mobile phones via CaixaBankNow, without the help of any adviser.
