A new fashion launch to support employers, children and cut down on waste

Cally Rusell – a retail technology businessman, is planning to introduce an approach which will change the way people buy quality clothing.

The shopping app Mallzee was also founded by Rusell. After Lost Stock, Mr. Rusell has gathered the team to inaugurate This is Unfolded that acts as a promise to make the conditions of company employers better and also omit waste.

The aim of This is Unfolded is to provide long-lasting clothes with inexpensive cost, pay garment employers upgraded payment as well as create an established positive impact since each sale will go to charity for child education in India.

Because of the pandemic, around $2 billion clothing orders were cancelled by fashion brands. This means that the fashion brands did not pay the employers who actually produced those clothes. Moreover, more than 30% of brand new clothes are not worn and they end up in the depot.

Lost Stock was launched by a small team in Scotland. They are going to sell these clothes in the form of mystery clothing boxes, whereas the money will be given as a donation for Bangladeshi garment employers. With this launch, Lost Stock has helped around 113,000 people in Bangladesh in the last seven months, and it has also created a community with more than 100,000 clients in 10 countries.

The people who work behind Lost Stock have a mission to design a long-lasting change through a new method to fashion.

The launch of This is Unfolded took place in March 2021 and has had a huge success since the beginning. Within three weeks, the brand has taken 2,000 orders while helping 550 children in education. What’s even more interesting is the fact that only 1% of orders were sent back which is under the 30% of the average.
