Dutch Police ends 300 people’s party

Almost 300 people were marked appearing at an illegal party at a building site in Hilversum overnight, police-reported on Sunday morning. Their mates also attended a mobile sauna gala in Hengelo.

The hundreds of invitees at Hilversum, Noord-Holland were violating coronavirus restrictions related to group sizes and gathered from all around the country. Police referred to the event as an “unintelligible and reckless” party that was spotted near Anna’s Hoeve, where a road is under construction along a railway track to enhance public transport provision.

“Two arrests were made; the DJ from the party and a female who ill-treated a police officer,” the authorities stated, “She pushed our fellow police officer after she was impelled to leave.”

Most of the other individuals present at the party left without creating any disturbance. Police never specified what a number of attendees, if any, were issued a 95-euro fine for violation of coronavirus guidelines about public gatherings and limiting group sizes to a maximum of only four people.

Early in Sunday morning police in Hengelo gathered information of a nuisance acquiescent about a likely party at an open space in Holtersweg. “It turned out that numerous young people were enjoying a party in a sauna on rolls,” the police department of Overijssel city reported.

“This really stunned us. The number of coronavirus patients is increasing day by day, and yet public gatherings are being held with all the costs that follow.”

Nine people were ticketed for not following COVID diktats or for not having appropriate ID documentation. Another 14 were fined beforehand in the evening for getting together beside the city’s train station.

“We realize that the circumstances are complicated for everybody. Half a year have passed since the coronavirus outbreak started, and the present statistics from the RIVM are not inspiring,” said Hilversum police.

This is the time to endure for each other, for the health care operators, for the friendliness and events industry which we miss so much a lot.
