Suspended for 2 beers, a garbage collector commits suicide

A local resident had offered him two beers to thank him for his commitment during the confinement. Licensed for having drunk them, the professional did not support the sentence.

Two garbage collectors from COVED, a waste collection company in the Caen region of France, received beers as gifts from a local resident. Ironically, it was this gesture of sympathy that provoked the drama of last Friday.

Like his colleague, a garbage collector took advantage of his break time to enjoy two beers. A pleasure that the two men should never have accorded according to their company, which decided to dismiss them, after having measured their blood alcohol level.
